Design Problem:

(2) The fastening screw holes for the installation of aluminum alloy windows and the assembled parts of vertical and horizontal window frame
components are not sealed with windows
(3) The aluminum windows are not equipped with drain holes or the drain holes are too small, and the drain holes are blocked
(4) Defects in the manufacture of aluminum alloy doors and windows
Material Reason:
(1) The selection of aluminum alloy material does not meet the design requirements, and the rigidity is not enough
(2) The quality of the sealing material is poor, and it is easy to age and deform after being exposed to wind, rain, and sunlight.
Prevention for Door and Window Leakage
1. The lower frame of the aluminum alloy window must have a drainage structure: (1) Sliding window: the guide rail is milled at the position
near the two frames to drain water; (2) Casement window: each fan hole is milled at the position of the frame near the middle stile A
wide 8mm mouth to drain water.
2. During structural construction, the size of each side of the door and window opening should be 20mm smaller than each side of the window
frame, and it should be filled with polyurethane PU foam glue; it should be sealed with polymer self-adhesive seam tape at the junction;
3. Leave a groove with a width of 5 mm and a depth of 8 mm between the window frame aluminum alloy window frame and the surrounding
wall decoration layer.After cleaning, seal it with Qing Long Exterior Wall Product.
4. The height difference between the inner and outer window sills of aluminum alloy windows is >20mm, the outer window sill should be lower than the
inner window sill, and the outer window sill should have a 20% outward drainage slope, and the olecranon and drip grooves should be made on the window lintel
5. Fill the gap between the aluminum alloy window frame and the wall of the opening with polymer fiber waterproof mortar (dry hard), etc., and then
seal it tightly with Qinglong Exterior Window on the outside. It is advisable to paste polymer self-adhesive joints at the junction belt for sealing
6. The mortise joints, riveting joints, sliding braces, square grooves, screws and other parts of the aluminum alloy window frame, as well as the gaps
on both sides of the combined window splicing rods, should be sealed tightly with waterproof glass silica gel
7. Change the glide path of the low-side water retaining plate in the aluminum alloy sliding window frame to the inner glide path of the high-side water
retaining plate.
