Introduction
QL-Polymer Waterproof Coating (Concentrated Type) is a synthetic waterproof adhesive emulsion for construction. It is made up of imported polymer and various additives.
-
Features
1. Non-toxic, odourless and non-polluting, it is an environmentally-friendly product.
2. Excellent adhesion and high tensile strength.
3. Superior impermeability, resistant to cracks, weather, acid and alkali.
4. Adding pigments can create a decorative coloured coating.
-
Application Range
1. Especially suitable for anti-seepage and moisture-proofing of new perforated brick masonry materials such as aerated concrete and hollow brick.
2. Waterproofing and moisture-proofing of roofs, basements, toilets, kitchens and walls of industrial and civil buildings.
3. Ideal for waterproofing of water tanks, swimming pools and tanks with hygienic and environmental protection requirements.
Applications Methods
Apply it in the following orders: base surface > under-layer coat > bottom coat > medium coat > top coat
1. Base surface preparation: The base surface must be flat, firm, clean, no water and osmosis, dents, cracks and leakage must be fixed first, internal and external corner to be made round.
2. Coating preparation: Measure the weight of the latex and cement. Add the cement to the latex using a power agitator and stir it until it becomes a uniform and granular-free mixture. If you find the mixture is too thick during the mixing process, diluted it with water which is less than 5% of the total weight. Coat ratio > latex : cement=1 : 0.8.
3. Apply the mixture evenly on the base surface. In general, apply it 2 to 3 times to achieve the thickness required by the design. It is better to apply a new coating on top of the other when the previous layer is not sticky to hands.
