Overseas Qinglong Festival Tour, Enjoying a Cultural Feast of Exotic Charm!

The 6th National Building Leak Repair Excellent Project Case Competition "Qinglong Cup" and the 7th Qinglong Waterproofing Promotion Carnival, organised by Qinglong Waterproofing, were held in Singapore and Malaysia from 9 to 13 March 2024.

This event not only attracted the elite and masters in the construction industry but also became an important platform for Qinglong family members to complement each other's experience and exchange ideas. Apart from the waterproofing and sealing business, the Qinglong family members also had the pleasure to experience the cultural charm of Southeast Asia, visiting Singapore and Malaysia and embarking on another exotic trip.

On the 9th of March, Qinglong members visited Merlion Park. Merlion Park is located along the unique city landscape of Singapore. At Merlion Park, everyone enjoyed the iconic Merlion sculpture, felt the fusion of Singapore's modernisation and traditional culture, and appreciated the city's rich history and multiculturalism.

On the 10th of March, Qinglong members went to Sentosa. Sentosa is one of Singapore's tourist attractions. At Sentosa, everyone experienced Singapore's unique leisure and entertainment atmosphere, immersing themselves in the sandy beaches, shopping malls and gourmet restaurants. The group then travelled to Universal Studios for a much-anticipated visit. In this first-class theme park, they enjoyed all kinds of exciting rides and experienced an amazing journey into the world of film and television. The series of events demonstrated the ability of the agents to work as teams, as well as the friendship between them.

On the 12th, everyone travelled to Malaysia, a country full of exotic scenery, and experienced the unique culture and natural scenery of Malaysia.

In the morning, the Qinglong members visited Petaling Street, the Dataran Merdeka and the National Palace. The National Palace is one of the national architectural landmarks of Malaysia and is the official residence of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, the monarch of Malaysia. The building is full of traditional and historical atmosphere, which gave the Qinglong members a glimpse of the royal culture of Malaysia. Immediately afterwards, they went to Dataran Merdeka, a vast and solemn venue that witnessed Malaysia's historic independence and became a place for people to commemorate the country's history.

The bustling market on Petaling Street gave the Qinglong family a strong local flavour, with a colourful array of food and goods to entertain them.

In the afternoon, the Qinglong family members went to Genting Cable Car Station to board the cable car for a bird's eye view of the beautiful Genting Highlands, overlooking the mountains and lush greenery. The fresh air and the pleasant ambience of the Genting Highlands made the moment a memorable one. The Petronas Twin Towers, one of the landmarks of Malaysia, also played a prominent role in the itinerary. The Qinglong members looked up to the top of the towers and enjoyed the view of the city from afar, taking in the hustle and bustle of a modern city.

On the 13th, the Qinglong members first visited Batu Cave. It is a natural wonder full of mystery and adventure. Inside the cave, they were in awe of the spectacular stalactites and stalagmites and the magic of nature.

Next on their itinerary was Putrajaya, an ancient city steeped in history. Putrajaya allowed the Qinglong to experience Malaysia's rich history and culture with its rich heritage and elegant architecture.

They then visited the Pink Mosque, a colourful mosque that is one of the landmarks of Kuala Lumpur and a showcase of the multi-cultural character of Malaysia. Putrajaya, the heart of the city centre of Kuala Lumpur, is surrounded by various commercial and cultural buildings that present a vibrant and modern city scene. The majesty of the city of Kuala Lumpur can be seen from Putrajaya with the magnificent Prime Minister's Office and the magnificent Everest Bridge in the distance.

 

By travelling to Singapore and Malaysia, the Qinglong members not only enjoyed the Southeast Asian style but also enjoyed the cultural charm and natural scenery of the two countries, which also deepened the friendship and team spirit among each other.

 

The experience and memories gained from this unforgettable trip will become the precious wealth of the Qinglong family members, inspiring them to continue to work hard in waterproofing and sealing, to focus on deep ploughing, transformation and upgrading, and to make more brilliant achievements.
